Summer's a' comin'
It's nice to be back. I don't know about you guys, but right now, all I can think about it summer. Sun, surf and sandals. The current Melbourne weather is really not helping my obsession either - it's like these sunny days are teasing me! Right now, as we venture into that ever so exciting Spring transition, I can't help but think of the wonderful beyong wonderful things that await my wallet once December comes along.
Sunglasses are fabulous all the time, but in summer, you actually need them. Because i'm young, there are very few designs that actually suit me, so I have to pick wisely. Marc Jacobs clearly heard my cries when he designed these fabulous aviator shades. The colour is Havana/Honey Brown (Yum, doesn't that make you think of summer?).
Move over LBD, summer this year is all about colour and prints. Free People has create this cute and fun animal printed red sun dress. Perfect with the shades pictured above and a great pair of sandals.
Winter's all about big bags, summer's all about smaller ones. I LOVE LOVE LOVE wearing sun dresses and thongs with a cute looking cross-body bag. Don't you love it? Tory Burch has created this one. In summer you don't need your massive wallet, cold and flu or beanie and gloves, so you don't need a lot of room. This messanger bag is perfect for your keys, phone and spare change.
Summer's coming guys, lets be excited together.
I'll be back soon...I promise this time.

Colour makes me happy
As you all probably know, I have a bit of an addiction to reality TV - can you blame me? More specifically, Keeping Up With The Kardashian's! At the moment in particular, I am really loving Kendall Jenner. This is mostly to do with the fact that she is my age, and someone who can really inspire me when it comes to the clothes that I wear.
Anyway, I want to know if I am the only one who is super excited about the 'Kardashian Kolor's' range of nail polish releasing soon.
The colours are as follows:
•It’s All About the Glam
•Kim-pletely in Love
•All Kendall-ed Up
•Wear Something Spar-Kylie
•Sealed with a Kris
•Rainbow in the S-Kylie
•Disco Dolls
•Kendall on the Katwalk
•Listen to your Momager!
•Follow Me on Glitter
•My Empire…My Rules
•Khloé Had a Little Lam-Lam
•Hard Kourt Fashionista
•Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi!

Check this out...
I guess none of you have heard of this company before, that's because it's new. And super exciting and fabulous.
"jack + bill is a pop-up public relations agency committed to identifying and representing emerging Australian fashion, jewellery and accessories design talent based in Melbourne, through publicity campaigns in 2011 at no cost." - Jack + Bill
What an incredible concept, and opportunity for Melbourne based up and coming designers, right? Well it is especially interesting for me because my older sister Emily is involved. jack + bill is a brand new company that is interested in finding some of those fabulous Melbourne based, struggling designers, that we all know exist. I for one LOVE Australian designers: Sass & Bide, Willow, Thurley, Collette Dinnigan, Fleur Wood, Zimmermann, Alice Mccall and the list goes on. jack + bill is especially designed to foster and encourage these emerging Australian design talent. You and me both know how important positive PR and publicity is for even an established designer, think about how beneficial it would be for developing designers. And, this is an Australian first.
There is going to be a casting call for all Melbourne designers in late July. This is such an incredible opportunity, so get on it! If you know a designer, or you are one yourself, head down to Little Lonsdale Street on the 30th of July.
Good luck...I look forward to seeing you there! S xx
